A Legacy of Expertise
Our story began in 1971, when Seçkin Gülçat founded Seçkin Pharmacy in Maltepe, Ankara/Turkey. Backed by her university professors, she started producing Turkey’s earliest herbal cosmetics in her pharmacy’s laboratory. These were custom formulations designed for individual clients, and soon, the demand for her products skyrocketed as word of mouth spread.
In 1987, driven by popular demand, Seçkin expanded her services and opened Seçkin Beauty Salon in Kızılay, Ankara, offering not only skincare products but also skin care services. This hands-on approach allowed us to perfect our formulations through real-time feedback. By 2008, we took a major leap forward, establishing a European-standard manufacturing plant, further expanding our capacity and product range.

At EC SKIN, what sets us apart is our living R&D process. Over the years, we’ve analyzed more than 30,000 different skin types in our beauty salon. This hands-on experience gave us a unique opportunity to closely monitor how our products interact with various skin types in real-world conditions.
